Primal tough, pure and inspiring. A sheperd cabin with a story, from the Tralaluna project. The nature house is made for those who want to get away from it all, into nature. To do nothing for a while, or to give that one thing some attention. A perfect getaway! Fire is allowed inside and outside in the wood stove. You get your own axe and wood to split. From the upcycled outdoor chairs you'll enjoy unobstructed views and amazing sunsets and dark starry skies. If you want, we'll make your bed in advance, set up a bike and provide a filled coffee can. Bedding/bedding is optional. Mattress cover is included.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is on a friendly Nature Campground, at the back with and yet separate from other nature cabins. (Note some of the photos were taken on the moors, so Keetje is not there). Tractor tents stand some distance away. There is a luxurious bathroom, common room and the cozy eatery provided exceptionally delicious food and breakfast. Unobstructed views of Natuurmonumenten area with grazers and golden oriole. From the site walking route on the Mantingerzand, et heather, shifting sand dunes, fens and natural grazers that provide insta-worthy pictures! Adjacent forestry Gees (pit stop ice cream parlor), green villages Meppen and Aalden and museum village Orvelte. Located on the Drenthe Trail, part of the walking network and near the Pieterpad. Central to the 3 National Parks, including the Dwingelderveld. Visit Assen, Emmen, Groningen good to combine. Info and walking / cycling maps are available. OV= (cheap) hub cab (lap dogs only).
