Our nature house, with private JACUZZI, is located on a small park in the heart of Drenthe near the village of Schoonloo. It is a spacious, detached house with hall, separate toilet and the staircase. There is a separate utility room (with a washer, dryer and an American fridge/freezer), an open kitchen (with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and oven), living room with French doors to the spacious garden. The living room has a cozy wood stove. On the first floor are three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the attic is a fourth (children's) bedroom with skylight. The private garden consists of two lawns totaling approximately 1400m2 with a fine, spacious covered terrace with lounge set and jacuzzi for optimal relaxation. In the shed you can safely park your bikes and charge them for free. Under the mature trees in the wooded wall hangs a hammock to enjoy. You have a fantastic view of the Drentse Es!
Nature and surroundings
In the south of the National Park Drentsche Aa is the friendly village of Schoonloo. The surroundings of Schoonloo are very wooded. In the village itself you will find two cozy restaurants and a riding school. Around the nature house the woods are within walking distance. From the house you have a beautiful view and look over the Es of Schoonloo. Rabbits in the garden, squirrels through the trees and bats at dusk. Further on deer walk across the Es to the Schoonloo Strubben. The Schoonloër Strubben are one of the few ancient forests in the northern Netherlands. At a suitable distance you will find other natural areas and the many cultural beauties Drenthe has to offer. Hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking or exploring nature on an Eco-scooter.
