It lies somewhere in between, because it is too small-scale and too personal for a hotel, but too luxurious and complete for a B&B. So it is actually a Hotel-B&B. there is a microwave/oven available to heat up a meal, but there are also plenty of restaurants in the area with take-out and delivery options. Be surprised and experience it for yourself! De Heerlijkheid is an accommodation for those seeking peace and quiet and therefore not suitable for children and/or pets.

De Heerlijkheid Ruinerwold is small-scale accommodation in a rural setting in Southwest Drenthe. There are only two spacious guest rooms, one with and one without a private saltwater jacuzzi, and a self-contained vacation home (search for code 26889) .There is also an IR sauna and sunbed available in a separate lockable private room. This nature house is located on a quiet country road with unobstructed views over the meadows. Many nice places, such as Giethoorn, Meppel, Ruinen and Dwingeloo are nearby. The national parks Dwingelderveld and Weerribben are also nearby.
