Welcome to our guesthouse located in the back house of our converted farmhouse. We have kept the authentic character of the house but provided it with modern comforts. The cottage has its own entrance and each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The accommodation can be booked with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and for these 3 options 3 different prices apply. In addition to the number of bedrooms chosen, you will always have the rest of the accommodation to yourself. The Cottage with 1 bedroom has code 51977, with 2 bedrooms code 52009 and with 3 bedrooms code 52010. The beds are made and towels are waiting for you. There is also a sitting room, a spacious dining/recreation room and an equipped kitchen (no dishwasher available). Behind the house is a terrace with seating, a spacious (parking) square and a small meadow where you can enjoy the outdoors and the sunset.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the outskirts of Ruinerwold. This road is characterized by the many beautiful farmhouses and pear trees along it. We live centrally to several nature reserves such as the Dwingelderveld, the Holtingerveld, the Uffelterbinnenveld and Rheebruggen (all within a radius of 6 kilometers). Also runs the bicycle route De heerlijkheid Ruinen for our house along. The national park Weerribben-de Wieden (including Giethoorn) can be reached by car within 25 minutes. Interesting small towns include Meppel and Steenwijk. Beautiful green villages in the area include Ruinen, Dwingeloo, Diever, Vledder.
