Nature house in Gasselte

Our nice detached nature house is located in the yard of our residential farm in Gasselte. You look out over the farmlands and the sheep in the meadow. Our sweet dog you can also encounter in the yard. The nature house has a spacious bedroom in the basement, which is pleasantly cool in summer and an extra bedroom upstairs accessible via a slightly steep staircase. There are wonderful box spring beds and an extra long (2.20 meters) double bed. On the ground floor is the living room, with fireplace, kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities for good home cooking, there is an oven and a dishwasher. We provide made beds, towels and tea towels. Outside you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is also a covered terrace so you can always stay outside. There is a shed where you can put bicycles and where you can charge electric bicycles if necessary.

From the nature house you can walk or cycle straight into nature. We are on the edge of the state forests, the water catchment area and the beautiful natural lakes of the Gasselterveld. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails and there is a splash pond a stone's throw away. There is a golf course 3 km away and a riding school at the end of the street. In the village there is a bakery, a gas station, a hairdresser and a bicycle rental. There is a pizzeria, a snack bar and several nice restaurants. For a supermarket, you can go to the neighboring villages of Gieten or Borger. In the spring, a small cafe will open next door. This will be open on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to about midnight. You can enjoy a drink, order a drink board or snack or have a nice satay. This will bring conviviality, but of course also some extra noise and hubbub.
