This cozy nature house is located in the village Doldersum in Drenthe on the edge of the nature park the Drents-Friese Wold. From the house and the garden you have a wide view over the woods and on a meadow where sheep regularly graze and you can see the sun go down. Doldersum is in the middle of a vast nature reserve where you can enjoy walking and cycling in all seasons, wildlife and bird watching and enjoying the tranquility. The house is tastefully decorated, suitable for all ages and features include a Swiss Sense Boxspring so you can fully rest, a washing machine, Nespresso machine, wifi, board games and outdoor wood stove. From the various seats in the garden and the hammock you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the sound of the birds around you. The house is very sheltered and you do not see the surrounding vacation homes because of the large gardens (already booked? check out nature house 29991, 64170 and 63019)
Nature and surroundings
In the vicinity you will find many forests and moors, which belong to Natuurmomenten. From the house you can follow several hiking trails and cycling routes. The information center of the Drenthe countryside, De Hoeve (a former sheepfold), is located on the edge of the park. This is also the starting point of beautiful hiking routes, for example to the watchtower, the hiding place, the Aekingerzand and various lakes, such as the blue lake at Hoogersmilde. Nearby are several villages with markets in the summer. The nearest villages are Vledder and Diever. Here you can do your shopping, get an ice cream and have a drink on the terrace or eat out. You can swim in the Bosbad in Vledder and in the Blue Lake.
