On a spacious field are 6 Cabins. These are great for families looking for a unique place to spend the night. Depending on the season, you can pick fruits and herbs nearby. The Cabins are simple, Tiny house-style furnishings. If it's a bit colder bring thick pajamas and extra blanket, camping in winter! A stove is provided. Do you book the meal service with it? You will get ingredients and a recipe from us to make a delicious meal on the fire! The nature house has 6 sleeping places, including a sturdy sleeping loft. With a simple kitchenette and a sitting area inside, you have everything you need! The Cabins have a private bathroom unit with toilet and shower right next to the cabin. (If it's freezing you use the adjacent heated bathroom building). You bring your own fitted sheet, blankets and and pillow.
Nature and surroundings
The nature houses are located on the outskirts of Grolloo and directly on the National Park Drentsche Aa and between various nature reserves. You can go in all directions to discover the beautiful nature. It is wonderful for hiking, there are several routes that lead you along the most beautiful places. The Sprokkelspoor and Wolvenspoor are ideal with children. For a slightly longer walk, the Veenpluisroute is a must! Also take a bike. Through the well-maintained bicycle paths you can cycle to for example the tree crown path with the great play forest, the dolmens or with warm weather to one of the many natural swimming pools nearby. Upon arrival you will find a box in the cabin with lots of tips from the area!
