This former goat stable has been completely remodeled by us according to current needs. It has its own entrance and terrace. It is bright and modern. We have already made the double bed for you and it is adjacent to a nice shower and toilet. In the sitting area there is a comfortable sofa and television with Netflix. The modern kitchenette has a stove and a dishwasher. If you wish, you can make your own breakfast there or prepare another meal. If desired, we can serve breakfast at the dining room table or on the terrace. In the vicinity are tasteful restaurants such as Eetcafé De Kastelein in Ruinerwold, Luning's in Ruinen, Ludiek in Havelte, Tante Ans in Ansen and Boschzicht in Echten.
Nature and surroundings
Ruinerwold is an authentic Drenthe village in a landscape consisting of alternating meadows, woods, heathland, creek valleys around small-scale villages. The area offers numerous opportunities for walking, cycling (cycling junction 60 is 100 meters from us) and horseback riding. Within walking distance are fishing ponds De Woldstek and Pitch and Putt Koekange. What you should not miss is the breathtaking Reestdal on the border of Drenthe and Overijssel. Furthermore, just steps away are three large National Parks: Dwingelderveld, Drents-Friese Wold and Weerribben-Wieden. When it rains there is also plenty to do, such as visiting museums, galleries, the many brocante stores nearby or going out or shopping in Meppel and Zwolle. In the immediate vicinity are several tasteful restaurants such as Luning's, De Huiskamer, Boschzicht and Café De Kastelein.
