This nature house is a 6 to 7 person wooden vacation home. Comfortably furnished and fully equipped. This nature house stands on the edge of the small park with the garden facing south. Located directly on the forest of National Park 't Dwingelderveld. Sitting on the porch, there is always something to see. The many birds that cheerfully whistle and sometimes you hear the Owl watching over the forest. You walk straight into the forest, of National Park t Dwingelderveld, here are beautiful hiking trails, bicycle routes, mountain bike trails. With so much nature around you, enjoy the peace and quiet, really a place to relax. Did you know that 't Dwingelderveld is one of the darkest places in the Netherlands! In clear weather at night see thousands of stars. At 2 km. distance lies the famous Brinkdorp Dwingeloo. For young and old, there are many activities to undertake in the region. In short, a wonderful place to unwind in nature and relax in your vacation home.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located directly on the National Park the Dwingelderveld. This NP is about 3500 ha. and the largest wet moorland of Europe. There are deciduous and coniferous forests, ancient pingos, lovely fens, sand drifts and huge vistas over the vast silent heaths. Because of the variation of the landscape, there is also a great diversity of Flora and Fauna to admire. The Dwingelderveld was already discovered in the past by the first inhabitants of the Netherlands. Pingos and burial mounds still remain from the Ice Age, you can see it before you: Mammoths roaming the plains here! The location is beautiful, with no less than 3 National Parks in the immediate vicinity. T.w. the NP Drents-Friese Wold, NP the Weerribben and not to mention the nature reserve Holtingerzand. But the rural environment is also beautiful. The Brink- and Esdorpen with thatched farmhouses hundreds of years old. Drenthe is the least densely populated province of the Netherlands. Here it is natural to enjoy the peace and space around you.
