Stay in a medieval historical unique. The apartment is located in an old Saxon farmhouse, situated on the edge of the beautiful Drenthe village of Zeijen, about 5 km north of Assen. In the farmhouse is a guesthouse with hall, living room / kitchen, toilet, bedroom and bathroom with shower.The whole is equipped with modern comfort, but very authentic and tastefully decorated with, among other things, mud walls and an "oxblood red" painted ceiling. The guesthouse has a spacious private terrace with beautiful views over the Drenthe countryside.
Nature and surroundings
Zeijen is a small village situated in the varied surroundings north of the city of Assen. Although the area around Zeijen has been inhabited for centuries, the village itself still only has 700 inhabitants. The vacation home in Zeijen is therefore situated in a quiet and scenic location. During a stay you can visit the city of Assen and Groningen, visit dolmens or see one of the beautiful Drenthe nature reserves, which are within walking distance. For cycling and walking there are endless possibilities.
