Our group accommodation (260m2), a former barn, is located on the outskirts of Eext in Drenthe, the least densely populated province of the Netherlands. In the Hondsrug UNESCO Geopark and in the National Park Drentsche Aa, you and your group are our only guests. So you have our entire site (10,000m2) for your family or group of friends available. Mooiplekkie 't Veld has plenty of room for groups of up to 20 people. 5 cottages (4 small and 1 large) under one roof make up this unique group house. The large corner house has a spacious living room/kitchen of about 65m2, so there is plenty of room to eat and relax together. The open kitchen is fully equipped. The small cottages have a simple kitchen. In total, there are 8 bedrooms, 3 bedsteads and 6 bathrooms. One bedroom/bathroom is on the ground floor. For weekend stays, departure time is 4 p.m. Sunday.
Nature and surroundings
Our family house is located in Eext in the National Park Drentsche Aa and in the Hondsrug Unesco Geopark. A guarantee for beautiful walks and bike rides. In Eext alone there are three dolmens and you can encounter a burial mound or pingoruin on your walking route. Forest, heathland, fens, characteristic villages with beautiful village greens, it is quite beautiful here. Eext is a quiet village, although a few public events are organized annually: The Concours Hippique on the Whitsun weekend, the first Saturday in July is dedicated to Tractor pulling and in December there is a nice Christmas market.
