In the head of Drenthe, in the middle of the woods of Zuidlaren, on a small and quiet campsite, is my charming chalet for rent. The nature house has been completely refurbished and decorated with a nod to the 60s. And with a veranda of 10 meters, of which 3 meters are covered, you can sit outside at all times and enjoy the nature around you. In the morning the birds do their best to wake you up singing....... DURING THE WINTER PERIOD FROM September 30, 2024 TO April 18, 2025 THE CAMPING IS CLOSED. It is possible to make a reservation. THE CHALET IS FOR RECREATION ONLY, not for WORKERS! There is poor Wifi reception, own subscription is recommended.
Nature and surroundings
Zuidlaren has much to offer for a relaxing vacation, midweek or weekend. Think of the Zuidlaardermeer, (water sports) lots of cycling and walking routes, subtropical swimming pool, canoeing on the Drentse Aa, megalithic tombs, nice restaurants, thrift stores, flea markets, fairy... and much more. If you are looking for a little more hustle and bustle, you can be in the city of Groningen in no time. To think in Groningen: the Groninger Museum, the beautiful Main Station, the Folkingestraat (2nd prize 2020 for the most beautiful street in the Netherlands), the Forum with its view over the entire city, the Prinsentuin with its magnificent roses and the lively city center with its many terraces .... Also in the city of Assen there is much to do and there is also a beautiful museum and is also very worthwhile to spend a day. Both cities are 15 km away from Zuidlaren and there is a bus connection 1 km away to both cities.
