The living room is the former Sunday/punch room with a high ceiling and many old details such as bedstead doors and wooden shutters. The view is beautiful: lots of greenery, meadows and trees, a quiet road flanked by stewing pear trees that bloom beautifully in spring with their white blossoms. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains many old details. There is a combi microwave, induction hob, filter coffee machine, nespresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom with underfloor heating and (walk-in) rain shower is new. In the bedroom with old details and box spring you wake up in the morning with a view over the meadows. There is a spacious private garden with terrace, a hammock, clothes lines and a bike shed.

The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The 7 km long, quiet road is flanked by stewing pear trees. Around you see meadows, trees, storks and birds of prey in the sky. At night it is quiet and dark except for an occasional owl. In the vicinity are beautiful villages and towns, forests, dolmens, moors and (swimming) lakes. Giethoorn is nearby for a fun day in Dutch Venice. The landscape of Drenthe is ideal for hiking and cycling. Also Friesland and Overijssel with their nature and beautiful cities are easy to visit by car, bike or public transport.
