Our farmhouse is located in the middle of the area of the Colonies of Weldadigheid and overlooks the estate Heerlijkheid De Eese. Here you can enjoy the peace, stars, wide vistas and a beautiful varied landscape, but also the coziness of Steenwijk and Giethoorn, Meppel and Zwolle are easily accessible. This beautiful area offers everyone an opportunity for relaxation and entertainment.The front house of the farmhouse is at your disposal. Private entrance, in the hallway the fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator and hot and cold water. In the front room you can cozy up by the fireplace. Here is also the box bed 1.80x200 with high ceiling and window with a view. Upstairs on the second floor 2 bedrooms, the beds are made, in the bathroom are towels and shower stuff for you. In the yard you can park for free (max 2 cars) bikes can be stored in the bike shed. We are present most of the time
Nature and surroundings
In the vicinity of this nature house are the National nature parks the Drentsfriesewold and De Weerribben the Wieden, Aekingerveld, Holtingerveld, Bosoord where you can enjoy forest, heathland, sand drifts and water. For those who like more of the city are Steenwijk, Meppel, Zwolle, Assen but also Heerenveen and Leeuwarden and Groningen within an hour.
