The 5500 square meter orchard is overgrown with walnut and fruit trees and is completely fenced in and bordered by a small forest stream. It has been deliberately left as an "Aire Naturelle" - i.e. an area in nature. As undeveloped as possible - and equipped with the necessary infrastructure such as paths, large pitches and water supply. The central meeting point is a covered terrace with a view of the landscape/mountains. This Construction en Bois is equipped with a working kitchenette, a large sink and tables. There are two showers and an extra washbasin in three separate cabins. A flush toilet and an organic bark mulch toilet are available separately. You must bring your own stove, cooking utensils and other personal equipment for a self-sufficient camping stay * New: We have one free pitch available all year round! *
Nature and surroundings
Our Aire Naturell is located near Vizzavonna. Known for its old trees and clean air. On the edge of the Parc Naturell with the legendary GR 20 hiking trail - right in the middle of the island at the Savaggio train station. Ideal for large families, preferably with grandma/grandpa and your dog! We have terraces with plenty of space for family tents or large tents (including tipis!). And we rent out 2 separate pitches for caravans and/or camper vans (e.g. VW Camper size) or cars with roof tents. If you are looking for a vacation in the mountains with beautiful pools for swimming and hiking - away from mass tourism, absolutely quiet - you have come to the right place. But not lonely. Within walking distance (15 min.) there is a popular campsite with a pizzeria and a nice playground for children. And guided horse riding excursions - so there's plenty of variety. The train ride through a 4.9 km long tunnel (built in 1890) down to the sea/beach of Ajaccio is an attraction.
