At the back of our property, hidden behind bushes and trees, accessible by a grassy path, is our hiker's hut. It is a cozy second-hand cabin broken down elsewhere and rebuilt here and furnished with love and attention to detail. Because of its tucked away location, it offers a lot of privacy. You also have a green terrace in front of your door including a fire pit. Between the trees you have a view over the fields . The cabin is fully equipped including a mini-kitchen with cold running water. Near the cabin is a compost toilet and in our farm (about 100m) we have a modern toilet and shower and sink with hot and cold running water.
Nature and surroundings
Echten is located in a wooded area. From the cottage you are within a few minutes in the forest and on the heath. With a little luck the deer walk past the Stuga. squirrels play in the trees and at dusk the barn owl flies by.
