Our nature house is located on a small park in the heart of Drenthe near the village of Schoonloo. It is a spacious, detached house with wonderful floor heating and its own wood-fired HOTTUB! There is a separate utility room (with a washing machine and an extra fridge / freezer), a new kitchen with cooking island (refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave / oven available), living room with patio doors to the spacious covered terrace and patio doors to the garden and hot tub. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The master bedroom has an electrically adjustable double box-spring bed. The private garden is located on a plot of about 580 m2 with a spacious covered terrace with lounge set and for optimal relaxation the private hot tub. In the shed you can safely store your bikes and charge them for free.

In the south of the National Park Drentsche Aa is the friendly village of Schoonloo. The surroundings of Schoonloo are very wooded. In the village itself you will find two cozy restaurants and a riding school. Around the nature house the woods are within walking distance. Rabbits in the garden, squirrels through the trees and bats at dusk. Further on deer walk across the Es to the Schoonloo Strubben. The Schoonloër Strubben are one of the few ancient forests in the northern Netherlands. At a suitable distance you will find three beach lakes, many other natural areas and the many cultural beauties Drenthe has to offer. Hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking or exploring nature on an Eco-scooter. We hope to welcome you!
