A Drenthe cottage for anyone who loves nature and rural surroundings! In the Drenthe countryside, not far from Friesland, you will find this rural goodie 'De Vierde Kolonie'. It is made with care and love for anyone who loves nature and a rural environment! The varied landscape surrounding the cottage, lends itself perfectly to hiking, cycling, horseback riding or relaxing. There is much to enjoy here from the unobstructed view, the veranda, hot tub, garden with canopy and playing field. The environment is also special because the Fourth Colony is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cozy cottage is very child-friendly, including stair gates, crib, baby bath, chair and toys. The nature house is sustainably built and has solar panels. The cottage is in a yard along with an almost 200-year-old colony house and a number of chickens. There is a wood-fired hot tub for over 4 people, heated for 15.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the 3-province area. Still just in Drenthe but near Friesland and Overijssel. The best of 3 provinces. Forest, heath, water and meadow. The varied landscape around the cottage, lends itself perfectly to walking, cycling, horseback riding or relaxing. The 'Drents Friese Wold, Dwingeler Veld and 'Estate the Eese' are nearby, but also forest lakes, swimming pools, various riding schools and museums. Hiking and cycling maps are ready!
