Our spacious nature house is located in the woods on a small nature park. With 660m2 of land and a sheltered south-facing garden, you can enjoy the sun and bird sounds outside. The cottage has private parking and adjacent parking for a possible extra car. Inside a playful layout with kitchenette with bar stools, dining table (8 chairs) and sitting area with 2 sofas and 1 chair (2 extra chairs possible). The cottage is also fully equipped including TV (Ziggo) and WiFi internet access, 5-burner stove, Delonghi espresso machine, microwave oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs is one room with double bed and one room with 3 single beds. An extra bed is possible on the landing (by arrangement). There is a folding crib available and a stair gate. You can bring 1 pet provided it stays downstairs. There is a fence around the garden terrace so your pet can be (briefly) alone outside.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a quiet nature park with no further facilities. There is a swimming pool and play facilities for children at the neighboring Vossenburcht campsite (during the summer weeks, take into account the noise of children playing). Heading south you can walk / cycle into the Staphorsterbos where you include swimming pond "the black pines" and other beautiful fens find many bike paths and a 25km mountain bike route. On the north side you walk/cycle into the Reest valley, an ancient small-scale landscape with woods, heathland, hay fields and old farms with an interesting history. The Reest meanders through the landscape largely in its original form. Be surprised by the variation in the landscape. In 30 minutes drive you are in beautiful water nature reserve "the Wieden" (including Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Weerribben). In short, and top opportunities to enjoy beautiful authentic Dutch nature.
