Quietly located in the back of the yard is this authentic Mongolian yurt. Perfect for nature lovers looking for a special experience. Spotting deer or badgers during a morning walk, showering at sunset, stargazing from your bed.... The spacious yurt is comfortably furnished with a double bed (linen included), 2 armchairs, a dining area, refrigerator and chest of drawers. There is also a kettle and nespresso machine. The wood stove provides cozy warmth. Cooking, grilling or baking pizza can be done on the skottelbraai and on request we are happy to provide a full breakfast or bbq with organic, local products. The outside terrace (with seating and hammock) offers an unobstructed view of the meadows and the nearby forest, where you can see the sun go down in the evening. Also adjacent to the terrace is the wooden bathhouse with dry toilet, sink and shower (with a view!). A charging station for electric cars and sports bikes can be used by arrangement.
Nature and surroundings
The yurt is privately located in the yard of the Helemaalnietshoeve, behind a newly planted coppice and food forest. Through a path you walk within 5 minutes into the forest, where you can enjoy a lovely walk. You are likely to encounter the Scottish Highlanders grazing on the moor there. The accommodation is located at a junction of beautiful cycling routes such as the Echtener cycle route. For sporty cyclists, a beautiful mountain bike route starts in the woods. The center of Hoogeveen or Zuidwolde is 4 km away.
