In the forest Langeloërduinen near Norg is our cottage on the edge of the forest. It is a wonderfully comfortable cottage that was completely renovated inside in 2022. Inside, the house is wonderfully light and comfortably furnished. There are two patio doors to a terrace on either side of the cottage. The cottage is on the edge of the forest and the village of Norg is easily accessible. From the cottage are several cycling and hiking trails. The cottage is equipped for 6 persons. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. There is a TV (DVDs only) and there is Wi-Fi (because of forest, reception is sometimes less good). In the storage room there is a washing machine. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, each with 2 box-spring beds. Next to the cottage there is also a storage room where bicycles can be stored and any other things. The car can be under the carport. The rental also includes the use of bed linen and plenty of towels.
Nature and surroundings
Enjoying the forest. Near the beautiful village of Norg, lies 11 hectares of beautiful Drents forest. A forest area with 87 recreational homes owned by the Association of Owners of the Friends of Nature Norg. Originally a camping association of green lovers. A forest where flora and fauna dominate, where you wake up in the morning with birds singing and sunbeams through the canopy. Do you like hiking? Directly at the cottage the Bosluit starts a walking route (yellow poles) and the cottage is located at walking junction from where you can explore Drenthe by yourself. Centrally located in the northern Netherlands, with Assen and Groningen nearby and various fun activities in the area. In the vicinity there is plenty to do. Veenhuizen, the prison village where you imagine yourself in a living history, the Drents Museum in Assen and the Groningen Museum, as well as many smaller museums. In addition, the village has a swimming pool and the necessary catering establishments. You certainly won't be bored here.
