This is a self-built and self-designed cottage made of mostly reused materials. This cottage was built and decorated with love and you can tell by all the furnishings and atmosphere. Downstairs is a toilet, wood stove, kitchenette with cold running water, kettle, fridge without freezer and 1 burner electric hob. There is also a bedstead (160x190 cm) where 2 people can sleep. Upstairs on the mezzanine is a large double bed (180x220cm) with a skylight facing the stars. The cottage stands on a 4 hectare nature outdoor playground. Nevertheless, this cottage is located on the edge of the grounds with its own veranda and garden where you can mainly hear the sound of many species of birds.
Nature and surroundings
Less than 100 meters away, we have a heated washroom with 6 showers, 2 toilets and a large sink. This nature house is a perfect place for families or a small group. You will be in direct contact with nature. During the overnight stay, you may use the survival courts, swimming pools, sports field, beach volleyball court and bocce court. There is also a games library where you may borrow games for free. On 1 morning per weekend and midweek you can enjoy a hot sandwich service. In the vicinity is plenty to do so you can enjoy cycling and walking in the many natural areas of Drenthe. Of course we know very well what is fun to do so feel free to ask us for good tips. Quiet seekers please note: In the northern summer vacations are on our site summer camps and the site is full of children with accompanying children's noise. The 3rd weekend in August is within walking and hearing distance of the rock festival.
