Welcome to this nature house, a beautiful place that has been family owned for almost 100 years! The wooden house was thoroughly renovated and preserved in 2023. It has all the elements for a wonderful vacation: the charm of the past with the convenience of today and at 5 minutes walking distance from the village center but still completely in nature with all the peace and quiet. The house can accommodate 4 to a maximum of 10 people (including babies). The house is 164 m2 and has 5 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms and a large veranda and garden facing south. There is also a place where you can store your bike if desired. Parking is available on private property. The nature house has its own grounds of 8706 m2. The garden has a lawn where you can play. You can enjoy bird watching. Children can build huts in the woods. There are many toys and games available, both indoors and outdoors.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located near the village of Rolde, in the National Park the Drentsche Aa. From the house you can walk straight into the woods or the sand drifts. In the area are many hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes. Across the road are sports fields, which occasionally cause some noise. Rolde has all the amenities you need. There is also a hunebed. The Hunebedcentrum is a short drive away. There are many hiking and cycling routes in the area. For example, the Balloërveld and Gasselterveld are both within 10 minutes driving distance. In the vicinity are also several swimming lakes, such as 't Nije Hemelriek, 't Loomeer and the Ieberenplas. Assen and Groningen are within a radius of 35 km.
