Stepping into the warm, welcoming, sunlit Loft, it's hard to imagine that 2 years ago I was standing on the raw cement floor of the bistro kitchen, and 2.5 floors up looking up at the stars. Floors and floor joists, partitions, part of the exterior wall, roof, everything has been renewed. And yet, even after complete renovation, this beautiful open studio can still enjoy its own old charm. Standard furnished for 4 people, with small bathroom with spacious bathtub, PANORAMIC window, kitchinette and sitting area. !! Because the loft is located in a wing of the original square farmhouse from 1673, we can never guarantee complete ambient silence. You can compare it to renting a room or apartment in a bed and breakfast or other old and shared buildings: the sound and smell of coffee just comes by.... or you can hear the early departure of the other apartment... the murmur of pleasant conversations on the terrace.

The Loft is ideally located for active enjoyers. On the edge of the goat-herding mountain range (Serra da Cabreira), at 865 meters altitude, you are on the border of the raw and rugged mountain landscape and the lovelier, lower vinho verde wine region. Although mainstream tourism is far from common here, it is a true paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, off-roaders and de-stressers. Old ox-cart trails, wide vistas, exciting gorges, wild nature, and beautiful idyllic water spots. Mountain streams with thousand-year natural pools carved into the granite, waterfalls, streams and lakes. Are you ready for some culture after all that natural beauty? Then the historic city centers of Guimaraes, Porto, Braga and Barcelos are a 35-60 minute drive away. Douro wine valley with porthouses idem. Large adventure park half an hour away.
