Staying in the Straw Loam Cabin is a distinctive glamping experience. The walls are built entirely of real straw bales, and then finished with natural plaster (whose crack jokes need to be touched up every year). A cabin from the distant past, it seems, even though it was only built in 2013 with the students of a straw building workshop. Tucked away at the very bottom of the nature grounds of Eco Lodge Cabreira, with unobstructed views of valley and mountain, it is fine welcoming place for those who want to enjoy back to basics in the middle of nature. Simple and rustic, standard equipped for 4 people with a double bed (1.40m x 2.00) and a bunk bed. Of course with large windows and surrounded by field and mountain. Rustic kitchenette with 4 burner gas stove, tabletop fridge, sink with cold water and basic cooking utensils. The shared bathroom block is a 40-meter walk away. For nightly ´emergencies´ you also have a composting toilet shed.
