In the middle of the woods is our beautiful nature house on a small nature park in IJhorst. The environment stands for peace and quiet. The cottage offers plenty of privacy with a terrace at the front and back, with both sunny and shady spots. A spacious, cozy and bright living room with patio doors to the terrace, which is adjacent to the edge of the forest where you can walk through a path into the forest. The nature house is equipped with an open kitchen with gas hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. On the ground floor is a bedroom with 2 single beds. The bathroom, with bathtub/shower and sink is also located on the ground floor. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, equipped with a double box spring and 2 single beds (box spring). If you book including bed linen, you have beds made on arrival.
Nature and surroundings
In the Reest valley lies this beautiful Nature Park and is one of the most beautiful river valleys in the Netherlands. The variety is enormous and the peace unprecedented. A unique forest and waterland where you can walk and cycle beautifully and spot storks. Right on the border of Overijssel and Drenthe, the Reest meanders its way through the ancient stream valley landscape. National Park Weerribben-Wierden, Giethoorn and the dolmens are a short distance away. Fun cities like Meppel and Zwolle are within a range of 25km.
