Nature house in Nijensleek

In our farmyard is a vacation home built in 2023. The cottage was built on the foundation of the former boiler room. In the boiler room food for the pigs was prepared. This history has provided the name for our current vacation home.The vacation home has 3 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms on the ground floor (1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 with a bunk bed). Upstairs in the attic (1.80 high) is 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (not accessible for small children and the disabled). The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. There is an enclosed garden with garden furniture, swing and sandbox. There is no terrace, but you can sit on the garden set in the grass.

The cottage is located on our farm where we milk about 100 cows. It is possible to visit the farm and watch the work being done, we are happy to make an appointment for this. On a farm livestock and work is done daily, this brings the necessary noise with it. Think of the mooing of cows and calves but also the sound of a shovel. This is all part of staying on a farm. The Eese Estate is adjacent to our property. From our farm you can walk into the forest for a lovely walk. The nearby (3km) situated Frederiksoord belongs to the colonies of Weldadigheid. The colonies were recently declared Unesco World Heritage, there are many opportunities for recreation. In the area you can enjoy cycling. It is possible to rent bikes through us. We work together with a bike rental company in the neighborhood. Let us know if you want to rent (electric) bikes. Giethoorn and the Weerribben are about 17 km away.
