Cottage General In a lovely quiet spot overlooking a woodland garden, stands this cozy luxury stone cottage, which is cozily furnished for 6 people. On the ground floor there is a spacious hall, living room with open kitchen, laundry room and toilet. Upstairs there is a spacious landing, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with extra toilet. There are 2 bedrooms with a double box spring bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single box spring beds. Smoking is not allowed inside and pets are not allowed. Around the cottage, under the canopy and in the woodland garden you can relax, both in the sun and in the shade. The garden around the nature house is spacious and has natural vegetation. The singing of the many birds completes the vacation picture. Open fire and coal BBQ are not allowed due to natural area. A gas BBQ is allowed. In the barn are two (ladies) bikes that may be used.
Nature and surroundings
There are various activities in the area for the children. In Duine Zathe in Appelscha, the children can have a fun day at the play park with various attractions. The Drentse Koe in Ruinerwold is also a must to visit with the children. In Dwingeloo there is the experience park and swimming pool where children can play, clamber and discover. On a rainy day you can go swimming in the subtropical swimming paradise in Assen with slides. Also the Klimpark and Zwembad Hesselingen in Meppel is a lot of fun. Furthermore, you can visit various museums: Drents Museum in Assen is a must, including "the largest dollhouse in the Netherlands. The prison museum in Veenhuizen. The Miramar Zee museum in Vledder. The Museum of False Art in Vledder is also very nice, there are various creative activities for children. Those interested in history can visit the Museum of Weldadigheid and Trial Colony in Frederiksoord.
