NEW nature house! This beautiful Keuterij was recently renovated and expanded into a 10 pers. vacation home (150m2) full of luxury and comfort overlooking the farmlands and surrounding forest. The house is characterized by a contemporary design combined with the timeless character of the old farm, which fits seamlessly into the environment. From the long dining table in the kitchen you look through the large windows over the meadows. The 5 bedrooms with Auping beds and 2 luxury bathrooms with walk-in rain showers, make the house ideal for a large family or several families. In the spacious kitchen with SMEG stove you can cook extensively. The house is surrounded by a huge garden with a large terrace with long dining table and pizza oven. For a delicious cup of coffee in the sun you can go to the covered terrace. It is cozy sitting around the firepit. For the kids there is a trampoline and tennis table, swing and tree house!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the forests of Drenthe, less than half an hour from Groningen. In the area you will discover hundreds of acres of forest and natural beauty with beautiful National Parks and lakes of Drenthe. Around the corner you will find several restaurants with mostly local products. Here you have the feeling that you are far away from all the hustle and bustle. You are in a quiet environment where you recharge, unwind, have fun together and make memories. The nature house is located on the outskirts of the village of Veenhuizen which is surrounded by lots of nature and forest. Directly from the nature house you walk or cycle through the woods and fields to this 'Colony of Weldadigheid'. By now Unesco World Heritage Site. Also for the kids there is a lot to do in the area, think of a climbing forest, forest pool, amusement park, swimming lakes, supping, Wildlands (largest zoo in Europe), fun on the estate Nienoord. The prison museum in Veenhuizen or mountain biking through the woods.
