Nature house in Biobra

Enjoy your other home on the mountains with spectacular views. This old limestone house with a slate roof was restored according to it´s original rustic style. It is very couzy. The upper floor (40 sqm) has a lounge/kitchen/dining room + 2 balconies: views of mountains, gardens and Biobra´s vineyards. The ground floor (40 sqm) has two bedrooms/two bathrooms both with shower. You got wardrobes, cupboards, hooks, large mirrors, shelves, and droors, as well as a place for suitcases: a place for everything. And the kitchen is of high quality with plenty of kitchenware and tableware. Just like at home. You can enjoy outdoor meals in the patio right outside the kitchen. The patio, delicious in good weather, is equipped with a rustic grill and a hammock. There is also a fire pit for seating outdoors on cooler days. The outside area around the house is fenced off so that your pet is contained. Central heating by wood burning cooker with radiators in all rooms. It is ideal for a family.

Come to the Nature Park Serra da Encina da Lastra: a Mediterranean enclave on Galician soil. The flora and fauna are Mediterranean here. Our mountains are round just like oversized hills. Biobra is the main village in the park located at 650m above sea level. You can enjoy spectacular views from the mountains hiking trails. Then there are trails through forests of holm oaks and cork oaks on the valleys.... and through ancient chestnut groves. Along the eastern end of the park, close to Biobra, flows the river Sil (bathing is allowed). There are 25 species of orchids in the Park. Wild roses blanquet the mountains in early summer. You can´t ignore the fragance of wild lavender, oregano, thyme, rosemary and fennel in late spring. La Lastra´s honey is probably the best in the world, according to international tests and standards: the bees are healthy and happy here indeed. Spring and Autumn are magnificent in La Lastra but Winter is magic on it´s authentic rural tranquility.
