Welcome to Hemel Hempstead - Food Forest Valthe. Our very complete detached cottage features an open living kitchen with wood stove, bathroom and two bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate five guests. Our food forest borders the endless Drenthe forests of Staatsbosheheer. On our property we have The lodge is located in the residential yard, with directly behind it our grounds with vegetable garden, food forest, a wood-fired hot-tub, campfire pit and small natural swimming pond. The lodge has two bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to five guests, and our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for extensive cooking. In addition, we have a fire pit near the cottage for those who like to cook on a real fire. With your stay you are supporting the regenerative agriculture transition. Would you like to get in the hot tub? Then please indicate this when you book. Then we will reserve the hot tub for you.
Nature and surroundings
The area has an awful lot to offer: the enchanting dolmens, MTB trails, beautiful swimming locations, and endless hiking trails through woodlands and moors.... and, of course, an abundance of wildlife: badgers, deer, foxes, owls, and more.In the middle of our food forest is a small swimming pond, ideal for refreshing and swimming a few laps. Explore the beauty of the surrounding nature trails, discover picturesque local villages, help us work in our vegetable garden and food forest, or just unwind and find inner peace in the silence of our idyllic refuge. For children, there are plenty of activities: gnome land, the saber-toothed tiger trail, Wildlands, and of course nature itself! Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or a peaceful solo adventure, our vacation home in Drenthe provides the perfect setting for unforgettable memories.
