Relax in 1 of the most beautiful and quiet places in Southeast Drenthe. The house was originally built in 1961 by an architect and in 2023 and 2024 completely modernized and rebuilt to 2024 standards. From the house there are numerous idle opportunities to explore the province of Drenthe. But you can also relax here and enjoy the surroundings. It is therefore quite normal to see a deer in your garden, squirrels running by and grazing sheep in the nature reserve.
Nature and surroundings
From the living room you have a direct view of nature reserve ''The Palms'' in the village of Meppen, this is a nature reserve with many juniper bushes, where you can enjoy a nice walk. On the other side of the village (also within walking distance) is the nature reserve Mepper hay fields. The village of Meppen is only 3 kilometers from the painter's village of Zweeloo, which inspired Vincent van Gogh. You can completely immerse yourself in what nature has to offer.
