The sliding doors open onto a sunny south-facing terrace, ideal for breakfast or reading a good book. In the woodland garden (700m2+) is a spacious private sauna with half panoramic window that offers a beautiful view of the conifers. The cottage has a spacious bedroom with Auping bed, a bathroom with rain shower and a large living room with modern kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven and Quooker, among other things. Internet is free and on the smart TV you can always watch what happened in the outside world or spend an evening Netflixing. In short, a wonderful place where you can experience the tranquility of nature, without compromising on luxury and comfort.
Nature and surroundings
Discover the charming village of Norg, just a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride from our forest cottage. This bustling village has cozy eateries, a butcher, baker, fish cart and a weekly market on Wednesdays. For daily shopping there are two supermarkets, and golfers can visit the nearby Drentse Golf and Country Club (10 km).Surrounded by the pristine forest of Norg, you can enjoy numerous recreational opportunities. Explore the many bicycle and mountain bike routes to picturesque villages such as Peest and Veenhuizen, or walk through nature reserves such as the Noordsche Veld, Fochteloërveen and the Langeloërduinen. In Norg you will also find a tropical swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, and there is a wonderful wellness center nearby. Culture lovers can visit museums such as the Groninger Museum and the Drents Museum. And for a great day of shopping, Assen and Groningen are just a 20-minute drive away.
