Relax in this bright and comfortable vacation home with endless views over the Drenthe countryside. The house is fully equipped, so: unpack your suitcase and enjoy. There is a bath, wood stove, well-stocked kitchen and lots of space around you. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor (with bathtub and toilet). The house has an open character: this is cozy and provides connection with each other. Here at this cottage it still gets really dark: on a clear night it is stargazing galore. In the early morning, owls can be heard. Crawl under your extra long down comforter and listen to these and other sounds of nature; that's a real wake-up call. Do you feel like being surrounded by nature, peace and space? Then this house is the right place for you. Welcome!
Nature and surroundings
The house is sheltered on the edge of a cozy bungelow park in Wittelte, near the beautiful Drenthe towns of Diever, Havelte and the famous village of Dwingeloo. In and around the house there is plenty of privacy. The garden is a favorite place for birds, butterflies and squirrels. You park your car in the private driveway with space for two cars. From the house it is a beautiful walk along farms, fields, meadows, small forests and towards the Wapserveense Aa. 10-15 minutes drive you are in one of the national parks of Midden-Drenthe: the Holtingerveld, Dwingelderveld and the Drents-Friese Wold, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. You can do fantastic hiking, horseback riding, mtb'ing or cycling in all the parks.
