My nature house is just outside Beilen in Midden-Drenthe. It is a room with a kitchenette in it, a bedroom and a bathroom. You have your own entrance and terrace and the possibility to put your bike inside in shed. Drink a cup of coffee/tea on your terrace with sliding doors, relax in the sauna or take a warming dip in the wood-fired hot tub suspended between 3 poles. This nature house is completely energy-neutral and equipped with solar panels, a bicycle charging station and you can possibly use a charging station for an electric car (for a fee). There are plenty of eateries nearby, where you can eat simple or elaborate meals. This is a new neighborhood, natural living environment. Nature, environmentally conscious, sustainable and noaberschap are highly valued.
Nature and surroundings
I live in a beautiful area where you can enjoy hiking and biking nearby. One where you can completely unwind. Anything is possible a weekend or midweek is really a must. Midden Drenthe has beautiful bike / mtb and hiking trails in a beautiful nature reserve can even provide various mtb / bike tracks (self pampered world cyclist). A short distance the Schareveld and Terhorsterzand and a little further is the Dwingelerveld, where you can enjoy nature in peace. Also the Hijkerveld is within cycling distance and there you can still walk quietly between the sheep. If the weather is not so good, you can visit the Westerbork memorial camp. Orvelte, when you walk through Orvelte you see and feel history, monumental farms, nostalgic stores and a sheepfold on the brink. This museum village from the 10th century has unique Drenthe character.
