Welcome to our cozy 4-person cottage, located in Oude Willem, in the middle of the beautiful National Park the Drents-Friese Wold. This cozy bungalow offers the perfect base for a relaxing vacation among nature. The cottage is located on a quiet park with other vacation homes, but without the hustle and bustle of a commercial vacation park. However, there is a common playing field with playground equipment where children can play to their hearts content.The cottage has a neat kitchen, a lovely living room overlooking the beautiful garden. There are two bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed and a second bedroom with a bunk bed, ideal for children. The spacious garden at the cottage offers lots of privacy, so you can relax. Whether you come with the family or with your partner, this cottage is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature. We hope to welcome you soon!
Nature and surroundings
Hiking and biking The Drents-Friese Wold offers an extensive network of hiking and biking trails, allowing you to explore the park in a variety of ways. The paths take you through forests, along fens and open moors, with here and there a viewpoint where you can enjoy the peace and nature. There are also several themed trails, such as the Wold Paths, which tell you more about the history and flora and fauna of the park. Animals and birds The park is also an important area for animals and birds. You can see several species including deer, foxes, and numerous birds such as the grouse, buzzard n the blue heron. The area is a paradise for birdwatchers, with many opportunities to spot unusual species. Early mornings and sunsets are often the quietest, giving you the chance to see animals in their natural habitat.
